About Me: Born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska, I attended the University of Nebraska - Lincoln, earning degrees in Finance, Economics, and Management. A true Midwesterner at heart, I’m deeply grateful for the early experiences that shaped me—family, friends, high school sports, leadership roles in my fraternity and campus clubs, three internships, and studying abroad at Oxford—all of which laid the foundation for who I am today.

After graduation, I moved to Charlotte, North Carolina, where I currently reside. For over seven years, I worked at Churchill Asset Management as an investment professional on the Private Equity & Junior Capital team. During that time, I closed investments in 60+ businesses and dozens of add-on acquisitions, totaling $2B+ in invested capital, and committed to 30+ funds as a limited partner. Beyond deal execution, I played an active role in Client Relations & Fundraising, Operations, Technology, and other functions, contributing to Churchill’s rapid growth into a leading private capital manager in the U.S.

While I’m thankful for the depth of experience gained at Churchill, I recently left my role to form TrueGrit. I couldn’t be more excited to fully dedicate my time, energy, and passion to acquiring, owning, and operating a small business. Outside of work, I prioritize fitness and nutrition, mindfulness (avid meditator), quality time with family & friends, golfing, reading, and cheering on the Cornhuskers—all of which keep me energized and fulfilled.
